About me
I have been teaching for 16 years and this is my 5th year in SMSD. I began my career in SMSD as a reading specialist, moved to an innovation specialist/ELL and am currently a PreK teacher. I am passionate about advocating for better reading instruction, ESL assessment, and funding early childhood instruction for all. I also spend my time advocating for teachers and helping other see the value in culturally responsive teaching.
