AI is everywhere, but what does it really mean for education? Should we be excited about its potential or cautious about its implications? In this session, we’ll demystify artificial intelligence and explore how it can empower educators and enhance student learning. You'll leave with practical strategies and tools to integrate AI effectively and confidently in your teaching practice.

Goals:
1. Participants will evaluate the benefits and challenges of AI technology in education.
2. Participants will create a classroom plan to address advancements in AI while aligning with district goals.
3. Participants will explore AI tools to streamline classroom processes and enhance student learning outcomes.

Discovery Education is a supplemental resource for K-12 educators and provides educational content in all curriculum areas. The platform offers access to thousands of rich, multimedia resources including high-quality videos, images, virtual field trips, and multi-modal content for teachers and students. It provides teachers with intuitive teaching tools and grab-and-go lessons that can be searched by content and by standards to enhance daily instruction. This session will support educators in finding, saving, sharing, and assigning resources in Discovery Education to support teaching and learning.
