This is an entry-level look at how AI can support the classroom teacher in their daily tasks and help them be more efficient with their time. The focus of the session will be on School AI, Brisk, and Canva.  We will share how these platforms can be used to assist teachers with communication, planning, and instructional materials.

This course will help teachers to enhance classroom engagement, support differentiated learning and encourage collaboration. 1. Empowering teachers to confidently navigate Canva and utilize it's features. 2. Design engaging and visually appealing learning materials to support diverse student needs. 3. Learning how to develop a resource library. 4. Encourage collaboration within the classroom and with colleagues.

Learn how integrating web-based and hybrid pitch competitions in PK-12 classrooms can enhance student innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while supporting district priorities in learning, belonging, mental health, and technology. This workshop offers practical strategies to create inclusive competitions that connect students with their communities, meet classroom goals, and utilize AI tools to streamline planning. Attendees will gain knowledge on implementing pitch competitions, fostering belonging, supporting mental health, utilizing technology for cross-curricular learning, and incorporating AI tools. This session is suitable for educators, administrators, and curriculum leaders seeking to inspire innovation, boost engagement, and align with district priorities through pitch competitions.
