In this session, we’ll demystify artificial intelligence and explore how it can empower educators and enhance student learning. You'll leave with practical strategies and tools to integrate AI effectively and confidently in your teaching practice.

Goals:
1. Participants will evaluate the benefits and challenges of AI technology in education.
2. Participants will create a classroom plan to address advancements in AI while aligning with district goals.
3. Participants will explore AI tools to streamline classroom processes and enhance student learning outcomes.

All Aboard the Magic School (AI) Bus! Using AI to Support Special Education Students FULL

This session will look at one AI tool, Magic School Bus, to introduce special educators to the use of AI and how it can support students in special education. Focus on one tool will allow time to explore and practice using it so educators don't feel overwhelmed by all the options available. Resources will be created for participants to take back to their buildings and use with students. _x000D_Participants will create a free account on the Magic School Bus website. Participants will be able to navigate and use at least 3 tools within the site to create supports for students. Participant will create a shared resource of prompts and products they can take with them.

In this session we will explore the district approved app Artsonia. We will look at ways to effectively implement the app for portfolio building, student reflection and assessment, as well as how to set up your classroom and develop routines and procedures for student independence and success.
In this session Art Teachers will:
1) become familiar with the app Artsonia.
2) explore ways Artsonia can be used as an assessment tool for measuring Responding, Presenting and Connecting art standards.
3) learn how to set up classroom structures, routines and procedures to manage Artsonia portfolio development and build student independence, responsibility and success.
